Easy Trifle with the Cake in a Mug Mix
Easy Trifle
1 baked Cake in a Mug Mix, cooled completely
1 packet strawberry jelly
1 cup custard
1 banana, sliced
200ml cream
Hundreds & thousands to sprinkle (optional)
Cut cake into pieces the size of grapes (old cake or dried out cake works as well as freshly baked cake). Lay on the bottom of a big glass serving bowl (it must fit in your fridge). Prepare the jelly as per the packet instructions, instead of putting it in the fridge to set; pour the lukewarm jelly over the cake. Now put it in the fridge to set firm. Once set, pour the custard over the jelly. Thick custard works best. Lay the pieces of banana over the custard. Spread the stiffly whipped cream over the banana. Put in the fridge to get cold. Sprinkle with hundreds and thousands just before serving. Best served cold. Serves 5.
